The Eucharist: Source and Summit of Our Lives The Catechism of the Catholic Church 1324 describes the Eucharist as “the source and summit of the Christian life.” A recent poll discovered that a large number of Catholics might find this difficult to comprehend because they do not believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. During this mission, Deacon Brian Soileau, will discuss how the Catholic Church can boldly proclaim the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and how we can definitively place the Eucharistic Lord at the highest summit of our lives.
